How to Choose a Motorsport Tent

A few things decide which setup suits your team:

• Space and team size. A single kart or bike needs a compact 3m x 3m. A full car with working room needs 3m x 6m. Multi-car teams and hospitality point to the larger awnings.
• Transport. Pack-down size matters when you are loading for a race weekend. Pop-ups and inflatables travel light, while freestanding awnings need more room but give more space on site.
• Weather and anchoring. On soft ground such as Cadwell Park, use tie-down storm kits. On hard standing such as Donington or Silverstone, use heavy-duty weights on every leg. Anchor every time.
• Branding. If sponsors are involved, printed canopies and sidewalls earn their keep. Plan the branding early so sizing and print work together.
