Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best size banner for a race tent or awning?
Common sizes for the back of a race tent are 3 m or 6 m wide, depending on the footprint of your awning. Many teams match the width of their Pro range gazebo or MQ 65 awning so the banner spans the full rear wall. If you are unsure, measure the space or send us a photo and we can recommend a suitable size.
Should I choose standard PVC or mesh for my motorsport banner?
Standard PVC is best for paddock, awning and garage use where the banner will be fixed to a solid structure or close to ground level. Mesh is better for exposed, high level or trackside positions where wind loading is a concern. If you use fencing or scaffolding style frames regularly, mesh is often the safer option.
Can PVC banners be used indoors as well as outdoors?
Yes. PVC and mesh banners work indoors at exhibitions, autosport shows, dealer events and open days, as well as outside at circuits. For indoor use, PVC usually gives the strongest visual impact, while mesh can help in very bright or glass heavy environments where glare is an issue.
Do I need print ready artwork to order a banner?
If you have print ready artwork, we can work from your files. If not, our in house team can help with layout, logo placement and basic design. We always send a visual proof for approval before printing so you can check colours, text and sponsor positioning.
How do I fix PVC banners in the paddock or garage?
Most teams use cable ties, bungee cords or rope through the eyelets. On pit walling or café barriers, small bungee loops work well. On fences, cable ties are usually the quickest method. If you have a specific structure in mind, tell us how you plan to fix the banner and we can advise on eyelet spacing.
How long will a motorsport PVC banner last?
With sensible handling, storage and fixing, a PVC banner will usually last multiple seasons of club and national racing. Avoid folding it sharply, do not drag it across abrasive surfaces, and make sure it is dry before long term storage to get the best life from the material and print.
