Returns & Refunds Policy
Gala Tent have a 30 Days No Quibble Money Back Guarantee
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase you can return for a full refund to your original payment within 30 days of purchase.
Your Gala Tent items can be returned within 30 days for a refund in line with ourterms and conditions.
Goods need to be returned unused and in the original packaging.
If you wish to return your goods, please contact our award winning Customer Service team who will be happy to issue you a returns number.
You will need to return your goods at your own cost, we suggest using the 'signed for' method to ensure you have proof of delivery.
Once we have received the product(s) and in appropriate any packaging, the Customer Service team will assess the goods and condition as quickly as possible and will email you to confirm we have received them.
Refunds are processed once a week and will email you to confirm when this has been done. Please note that it may take 3-5 days for your bank to credit your account if the refund is been processed by card.
If you would prefer a credit to spend with us or an exchange for other goods we will be happy to do this
In the rare circumstance returned goods are used and/or not fit for resale, we will make them available for collection back to you or we may offer a refund minus 50% of the original payment.
Please note that the Returns & Refunds Policy will differ for bespoke items or items bought on finance, if you have any questions we will be happy to help.
Returns by Post or Courier
Please make sure you contact us within 30 days of your purchase if you wish to return unused items. You have 30 days to return your goods once a returns number has been issued, to be refunded or credited.
We are able to exchange products by post. We do process exchanges if you wish to switch your unused product, Please contact our Customer Service team before you arrange delivery back to the Gala Tent warehouse so we know how to help when we receive your goods.

Refunding Delivery Charges
Provided you have notified us that you wish to return your order under the Consumer Contract Regulations, and the return also meets ourterms and conditions, you will be entitled to a refund of the full value of what you paid for your returned items. We are unable to provide a refund of the delivery costs.
Promotional Discounts & Refunds If you received discount when paying for your order, you will be refunded what you paid for the return item.
Your Statutory Rights Our refund policy does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty or damaged goods.
Concerned about price and quality?
Gala tent is the only British manufacturer of garden marquees. All our competitors despatch from either Germany, Denmark, France or even China and pose as UK companies by using a .co.uk address.

Before you apply please note you will only be considered for finance if you:
Are having the delivery to a UK address
Are having the delivery to the same address as cardholder
Are at least 18 years old
Are in regular full or part-time employment (minimum 16 hours per week or £5,000 per annum, unless you are retired and receiving a private / company pension or in receipt of disability allowance)
Are a permanent UK resident and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
Have a good credit history with no late payments, debt relief orders, CCJs, IVAs or bankruptcies.
Please note discounts can not be carried over if you are purchasing using finance.

We offer a range of interest-free and interest bearing finance options to help you spread the cost of your purchase over 12, 24 or 36 months. The value of the loan needs to be over £350 and you can choose a deposit of up to 50% of the value of the goods.

Finance decision
Your application will be assessed based on various factors including eligibility, credit history and affordability and our finance partner will let you know the outcome of their decision in just a few seconds. It’s important to know that when applying for finance a hard credit check is made and this is recorded on your credit file.
Once approved, you just need to digitally sign your credit agreement, pay your deposit and then wait for your order to arrive.
In a very few cases, your application may be referred to a lender for manual underwriting. In such cases you’ll be notified by email of the credit decision within 24 hours. If you’re not approved for finance it could be for a variety of reasons. You should gain a copy of your credit file and this will be able to give you more information.
Repaying the loan
Your first direct debit payment will be taken about 30 days after you have received your purchase. You have the right to repay all or part of the loan early at any time.
Cancellation
There is a 14-day cooling off period where you can withdraw from the credit agreement after signing your documents. If you wish to do this, you need to notify the finance company.
A finance agreement does not affect our standard refund and returns policy. Just contact us and we can cancel your application and the finance company will refund your deposit. They will let you know of any outstanding balance if applicable.
Gala Tent offer an unrivalled next-day delivery (if ordered before 4pm), delivery is free if you spend £100 or more.
(see rule 4.1 and 5 for exceptions)
Do I have any options for when it's delivered?
Premium deliveries, i.e. AM and Saturday services, carry a surcharge.
A third party company handles our deliveries and we cannot offer a 100% guarantee that deliveries will arrive on time(Please Note that the couriers will allow 15 minutes past the hour to complete the delivery).
We will however refund the surcharge should it fail to reach you by the agreed time.
You will still be expected to accept the late delivery, as this is not a guaranteed service.
(rule 4.4 would apply if you refuse delivery)
Can I choose a slower delivery for cheaper rates?
Our next day delivery is £7.99 if you don't spend £100 or more however you can request for a slower delivery by using the special instructions feature when checking out your order.
If you are within traveling distance to Gala Tent you may opt to collect your order your self which will waiver the Delivery charge.
Do delivery conditions vary in my area?
Areas with postcodes starting with AB, BT, IM, IV, KW, PA, PH, TR or ZE may attract a surcharge from our couriers.
Should your order require a surcharge, we will contact you before your account is debited. (see rule 2.3)
